Description
Main Purpose: Prepare and dispense medications and other pharmaceutical consumables to patients under the supervision of the pharmacist. Process prescriptions electronically and submit claims to funders as per the scheme rules. Resolve issues when they arise on funder claims, sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory. Provide information to patients and other healthcare professionals on medicines.
Requirements
Education & Professional Background
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Hospital experience will be an added advantage.
- Registration with BHPC
Experience
- At least 5 years’ practical experience
