Job Description
The Part-Time Lecturer – Logistics, Purchasing and Supply is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in logistics, procurement, and supply chain-related modules. The role involves preparing lesson plans, facilitating lectures, assessing students, and supporting academic development in line with institutional standards. The lecturer is expected to apply industry knowledge, promote practical understanding, and ensure students are equipped with relevant skills for the logistics and supply chain profession.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Logistics, Purchasing, and Supply Chain Management courses.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Assess and evaluate student performance in line with institutional policies.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic reviews.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic activities.
Requirements
- Education: Master Degree in Logistics, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field (Master’s degree will be an added advantage).
- Work Experience: At least 5 years’ teaching or industry experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of modern teaching methods and assessment practices.
- Mandatory requirement: Must have BQA, Evaluation of Qualifications, and Assessor, Moderator certifications.
