The Botswana Open University requires duty-conscious professionals to join the University as Part-Time Demonstrators for the Bachelor of Technology in Information Systems (B.Tech-IS) programme in the Department of Computing and Information Systems, School of Science & Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and conduct practical computer laboratory sessions in accordance with the University and Departmental quality standards and guidelines.
  • Respond to course related queries raised by learners through different means of communication.
  • Maintain records of learner attendance, progress, and any other relevant records.
  • Undertake assessment activities.

Requirements

  • At least a Masters Degree in one of the following disciplines; Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or any related discipline.
  • At least two (2) years tertiary experience as a Demonstrator.
  • BQA Accreditation as an Assessor or Moderator (Added Advantage).

Demonstrators are required for the following Course:
Semester 1
Programming Fundamentals with Java (TJV721).
