OPERATIONS MANAGER X 2 (ORAPA MINE &JWANENG MINE)
Minimum Requirement
s:
⦁ BEng Mechanical / Electrical
⦁ Must be a registered Engineer
⦁ Eight (8) years of technical experience in mining equipment, and four (4 ) years in a leadership role.
Job role includes:
⦁ Management of Technical staff and Continuous Leadership Development
⦁ Collaborates with the SHE function in the rollout of SHE Strategy
⦁ Business experience with regard to customer liaison, Service Level/Contractual agreements, decision making and problem resolution preferably in mining/construction
⦁ Contracts/customer/supplier management
⦁ Unit Sales
⦁ Parts Sales Management
⦁ General Physical branch and asset management
⦁ Product Support Management
⦁ Tactical Upper Corporate Governance
⦁ Warehouse Management
⦁ Credit & Debtors Control
⦁ Tactical Upper Liaison and Change Management
⦁ Manages the implementation of branch structures, resources and systems aligned with strategic direction
⦁ Financial management with regard to profitability and cost control, inventory management and reporting
⦁ Participates in planning human resources needs & requirements for the branch for approval by Executive leadership
⦁ Participates in operations strategic plan development with divisional team and Operations Executive
⦁ Conducts resource planning for the branch and identifies risk and strategises preventative- and mitigation strategies
