OPERATIONS MANAGER
KGK DIAMONDS BOTSWANA PTY LTD is a leading Diamonds Company seeking passionate, driven candidate to fill in the Post of Operation Manager.
Who will direct day to day Diamond polishing and Administration actives, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement successful management strategies
Responsibilities:
• Oversee coat effective manufacturing operations for Diamond Cutting and polishing
• Manage the consistent output of a team of 500 + factory employees on a daily basis
• Deliver to productivity targets within allocated budgets
• Liaise with suppliers, stakeholders, senior management and contractors
• Distribute responsibilities across department, building efficiencies and utilizing available manpower to improve result
• Conduct workforce training and development
• Supervise a range of skilled and unskilled workers
• Ensure quality controls and equipment maintenance programs are enforced
• Develop,
• Implement and enforce company OH&S standard in line with relevant legislation and improve business process
Qualification & Experience:
• Degree in Management or Related degree qualification in Management
• At least 15 years’experience in Diamond cutting and Polishing or related field
• Proven Leadership skills
• Experience in negotiation and building relationship with suppliers
• Computer literacy
• Motivation to drive continuous improvement processes and ensure the capacity is maximized
• Ability to manage dynamic and changing workforce as well as being able to work extremely well under pressure
• Dedication to the details, from budget management to locating inefficiencies
