Mechanician x2 Positions – Kromberg & Schubert

Key Responsibility Areas

• Implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance on all production equipment
• Ability and demonstrate good apprenticeship to keep up with process KPIs
• Implement TPM principles on equipment and ensure compliance to OEM specifications
• Monitor and control production, product quality and releases. Anticipate problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Exercise independent judgment, responsible for customer support initiatives. Able to work alone to find faults and concerns in process systems without receiving explicit instructions.
• Observe and test operations of equipment to diagnose malfunctions and ensure equipment/mechanical parts are free of defects, tear and wear
• Documentation of spare parts and analysis of all wear parts, including recommendations
• Build-up of new equipment and in-house activities with coordination and additional projects by Maintenance Supervisor
• Ensure good quality workmanship and upholds company standards, including 5S principles
• Compliance with Operational health and safety legislation

Minimum Requirements

• NCC in Mechanical / Electrical with 2 year work experience in a manufacturing or production environment OR related work environment
• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 1 year experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Basic diagnosis skills in electrical, mechanical and plant machinery necessary
