MATERIALS HANDLER

Position Purpose

This role ensures continuity of business by maintaining production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies as per departmental requisitions, both physically and in the system.

Key Responsibilities

Materials Handling Physically receives, unloads, packs, and secures goods in the warehouse and ensures receipts are captured in the system.

Maintains inventory by identifying, labelling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.

Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on the requisition vouchers and ensures are captured in the system.

Maintains adequate materials and goods to ensure business continuity. Documents materials and supplies by recording goods delivered and location of the goods.

Physically receives goods returned by user departments, inspects and verifies the material numbers/codes.

Completes the process by capturing the returns in the system. Produce a list of damaged goods and report for the inventory controller.

Salary: An attractive Salary Package commensurate to the market

Leave: 20 working days per annum

Pension: A Contributory Pension Scheme (16.5% WUC and 4% Employee)
