A Reputable Earthmoving Equipment Company urgently seeks applications from eligible candidates for the position of  Maintenance Supervisor.

The successful incumbent must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for this Post and have:-

A Form 5 (BGSE) /Technical equivalent Secondary Education.
An Apprenticeship in Heavy Plant I Diesel Mechanics.
A minimum of 12 years post Apprenticeship experience in the industry.
A minimum of 10 years of practical Liebherr experience in the complete range of
Liebherr Excavators
A minimum of 6 years of Supervisor/ Management experience.
A clear understanding of the Original Equipment Manufacturers Operation.
A sound Liebherr air conditioning, technical fault finding/ solving abilities & experience.
Have sound experience in using Diagnostic Software such as Sculi, Lindiag, Lidos, Cummins Insite SW & Hyper Terminal.
Leadership qualities that are essential to this position.
A valid Driver’s License

Key Performance/Duties of the Service manager is to:-

Visit Customer Operational Sites, attend Site meetings & compile detailed Machine Condition Assessments (MCA).
Assist with Liebherr mid-life rebuilds, new rebuilds, major breakdowns, and specialized repairs and maintenance.
Control all processes pertaining to Liebherr WIP (Work In Progress) and Warranties.
Improve and drive Customer Service.
Responsible for controlling all aspects related to Health and Safety.
Manage team building and skills transfer.
Be able to read, understand and order parts on the Liebherr Parts System.
Be responsible for Programming and Software upgrades of all Liebherr
Machines.
Be computer literate i.e. internet, e-mail, Microsoft Office especially in Word Excel, and PowerPoint.
