Barloworld Equipment Botswana is a wholly owned subsidiary of Barloworld Equipment Southern Africa, we are the sole dealership of Caterpillar earthmoving equipment in Southern Africa. Barloworld Equipment Botswana invites suitable candidates for the positions of Lead Mechanic

1. Lead Mechanic x1 (Ghanzi)

Job Outputs
• Ensure implementation and adherence to procedures and legal requirements within area of responsibility.
• Supervise daily activities, offer coaching and on the job training to ensure maintenance is done according to the required standards.
• Co-ordinate maintenance as well as statutory inspections and audits by internal and external service providers.
• Ensure the execution of scheduled and non-scheduled mechanical repairs and installation work as required.
• Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including machine inspection reports and technical analysis reports.
• Providing constant feedback to the supervisor on maintenance activity, performance and availability of equipment.
• Perform administrative duties to ensure record accuracy and availability at all times.

Requirements
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• Minimum 5 years working experience in similar industry
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Excellent technical reporting writing
• Computer Literate (MS Office)
• Sound planning, leading and organizational abilities
• Good team leading skills
