Job Description
DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Head of Microbiology, the incumbent will be responsible the day to day Laboratory activities (sampling, samples testing, reporting of results) in accordance with the documented policies, procedures, work instructions and standards/ regulations. He/ she should be knowledgeable with the requirements of the ISO/ IEC 17025: 2017 management system and self-motivated, analytical person prepared to work long hours, supervise laboratory personnel, and computer proficient.
Qualifications and Experience:
⦁ Degree or Diploma in Microbiology/ Biotechnology or related equivalent.
⦁ ISO/ IEC 17025: 2017 Requirements and Internal Auditing training will be an added advantage.
⦁ A minimum of three (3) years relevant post-qualification experience, of which at least one should have been in supervising other Laboratory personnel preferably in a food/ water testing laboratory or related equivalent.
