Job Description
Title: Information Management Analyst- Data Engineering

Purpose of the Role
1. Analyses and integrates business cases and other initial project/business change documentation and translates them into technical requirements and system specifications that makes up the solution blueprint to protect corporate Information assets by employing a range of technologies and processes to prevent, detect and manage cyber threats and incidents.
2. Manages the implementation and support of systems, networks and platforms ensuring end-to-end service agreements are being delivered according to overall service delivery model and performance to ensure effectiveness of cybersecurity controls
Key Job Responsibilities
- Build, batch and real-time pipelines to extract data out of the source systems into Microsoft Azure cloud
- Build data prototypes for early enablement
- Enable data harmonisation and normalisation
- Conduct troubleshoot, testing and validation of data pipelines
- Build relevant data views for end users
- Perform reconciliations and validations to ensure accuracy of data into the Azure platform
- Support the development of relevant training to support future skill development in data engineering and supporting disciplines
- Conduct real-time quality assurance, and material flow performance monitoring and reporting (data analytics and analysis)
- Identify and manage opportunities for optimising performance and efficiency of data systems/platforms
- Create batch and real-time data processing pipelines
- Deploy machine learning models into a production environment
- Identify, design, and implement internal data extraction improvements, to achieve optimum functionality in the data systems
Other Job Responsibilities
- Prepares and coordinates the section’s budget within approved parameters
- Adheres to all safety health and environmental policies and procedures in areas of responsibility
Education
- Bachelors Degree in in Data Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent
Experience
6 years experience in AI(Artificial Intelligence), Machine Learning or Data Analytics
