Title: Information Management Administrator – SAP Finance and SAP Basis

Purpose of the Role
To provide second-hand line problem resolution service for platforms, systems, and computer operations as appropriate, making recommendations or proposals for efficient information sharing/management. To provide Finance, Controlling & Project System support, and problem resolution to Finance for the efficient running of Finance Operations.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Provides an intergated information management, technology and business support services to clients, in support of agreed IT service level, by monitoring, planning anad controlling contracts and service level agreements, inter alia;
- Ensures quality standards for all activities within the designated area of responsibility, by making changes (technical) to quality standards, according to documented procedures and ensures that changes are widely communicated.
- Administers the change management process, minimising the impact of change on co-workers and clients in line with the business’ established change management protocols.
- Co-ordinates and monitors actions to meet agreed time and quality targets for the creation, testing and maintenance of information systems recovery plans and identifies issues to be resolved.
- Adheres to safety, health and environmental programs in area of responsibility taking cognisance of all legal requirements
- Conducts unit testing of changes done to the system and its extensions
- Troubleshoots and resolves logged issues to optimize performance
- Assists users in defining their needs for new access rights and privileges and relay requests for same to the SAP Authorisation team
- Attends to all administrative functions of the position, taking cognizance of the need to create a clear audit trail, by; carrying out and observing all associated administrative and clerical procedures
- Ensures compliance to internal and external Audit requirements
- Takes cognizance of, adheres to and promotes Corporate Governance and Company policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
- Determines business needs via consultation, business analysis, and targeted observations, logged call analysis
- Analyses business requirements for feasibility of implementation and research on available solutions in the market
- Writes business cases for the adoption of relevant financial technologies
- Conducts system configuration and customization of the FICOPS systems as per business requirements
- Deliver Finance products and solutions as per roadmap
- Work and support teams across functional modules such as HR, PM, MM, Authorisation and Basis
- On-call emergency 24×7 support, including “Go-Live” support for cutover periods
- Deliver the Technical products and solutions as per roadmap
- Work and support teams across functional modules such as HR, PM, MM, Authorisation and Finance
- Cloud Applications monitoring, maintenance and upkeep (Cloud Connectors, CPI, Fiori, Success Factors, BTP and SAP Work Manager)

Education
- Bachelors Degree in Information and Communication Technology or Equivalent
Experience
2 years experience in a system support environment.
