VACANCY – ICT TECHICIAN

Job Description:

As our ICT Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school’s ICT infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. Your responsibilities will include:
•Providing technical support to students and staff on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
•Installing, configuring, and maintaining ICT equipment such as computers, printers, projectors, and interactive whiteboards.
•Troubleshooting hardware and software problems and implementing timely solutions.
•Managing and maintaining the school’s network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and access points.
•Assisting with the implementation of ICT projects and initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
•Conducting regular maintenance and updates to ensure the security and efficiency of ICT systems.
•Collaborating with teachers and staff to integrate technology effectively into the curriculum.

Requirements:

•Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
•Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
•Strong technical skills with proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clear technical guidance and support to users.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
