Lucara Botswana (Pty) Ltd operates the Karowe Diamond Mine at Letlhakane in the Boteti sub-district. The plant was commissioned in April 2012 and has achieved exceptional performance. Lucara is embarking on projects that enhance large diamond recovery and is seeking qualified professionals to join its team.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Practitioner will administer Human Resource systems, identify needs, and recommend process improvements. The role provides administrative HR support to line management to ensure consistency in the implementation of HR policies, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent Social Science diploma/degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, with HR experience
  • Membership of a professional HR body

  • Understanding of HR systems and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills
  • Health, safety, and environmental awareness training
  • Customer care training
  • Supervisory training course
