Main Purpose of the Job
The purpose of the role is to manage essential human resources functions, including full-cycle recruitment, employee onboarding, policy development & implementation, driving a high-performance culture, and payroll/benefits administration. They serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, resolving conflicts, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The primary goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.
Key Performance Areas:
· Recruitment & Selection: Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
· Onboarding & Records:  Create and implement effective onboarding plans, managing employee records, and preparing contracts according to policy and legal requirements.
· Employee Relations: Handling grievances, disputes, be the HR resource in disciplinary hearings and ensuring consistent implementation of policies and procedures.
· Performance & Training: Coordinating performance appraisals, identifying training needs and facilitating training activities.
· Compliance & Policy: Ensuring compliance with local Labor laws and company policies.
· Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
· Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, salary reviews, and leave management.
· Manage Employee Welfare, Benefits & HR Office Administration
· Promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
Competencies:
· Experience: Knowledge of Key HR functions (payroll & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)
· Knowledge: Strong understanding of labour legislation and HR best practices.
· Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, time-management abilities and organizational skills.
· Tools: Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office.
· Attributes: High level of integrity and confidentiality
Qualifications:
· Degree in Human Resources Management/BCom Management/Social Sciences or equivalent.
Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years work experience in a generalist HR Function.
