Main Purpose of the Job

To develop, implement, maintain, coordinate and monitoring of all aspects of the Company’s Transporters HSSEQ management systems to improve and achieve business targets. This will include HSSEQ coordination of BOL contracted transporters, Transport safety management plans, environmental plans, and risk management activities to ensure compliance with industry standards at all times, relevant legislation, and other requirements.

Key Performance Areas

• HSSEQ management system development, implementation, coordination, maintenance, and monitoring.
• HSSEQ risk assessment
• HSSEQ Transport management: Driver & Vehicle Management, Journey Management,
• HSSEQ incident management.
• HSSEQ Transport Legal compliance
• Emergency management
• Project management on Transport related Contracts.
• HSSEQ Transport Safety Compliance and Client relationship Management.

Position Requirements

Education:   A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety Management, or any related field.

Professional/Technical:        Membership of the Environmental Science – BEAPB and Engineers Registration Board will be an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum Five (5) years’ experience, two (2) of which should be in a high-risk environment e.g., petroleum or mining industries.
