Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Superintendent – Sandfire Motheo

Job Description

The position is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of both the health, safety and wellbeing (HSW), and environmental programs for the Tshukudu Exploration Project. It will ensure that the integration of HSW and environmental responsibilities is carried out in alignment with the company’s goals, legal requirements, and industry best practices as well as oversee the day-to-day management and performance of the HSE Department.

Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure Exploration Botswana’s compliance with Sandfire’s HSW and Environmental Standards and Framework.
– Implement and maintain an integrated management system in compliance with local legal requirements and the Sandfire HSW and Environmental Group Standards.

Requirements:
– A minimum of a Degree in Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW), Environmental Management or equivalent.
– Minimum 7 years’ experience in HSW and/or Environmental with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
