JB formerly known as JB SPORTS is a local retail company established in the year 1994. The company has developed from a sports shop to a successful Fashion and Lifestyle retail store. We are currently looking for suitable candidates for the following:

VACANCY: HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Duties and Requirements:

Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets. reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
Oversee materials and inventory management
Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
Manage day-to-day store operations including inventory management
Ensuring that departmental goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
To effectively recruit, induct, and lead. manage, train, and develop Area Managers. Branch Managers, Customer Service Assistants, and casual staff to agreed procedures and standards
To grow sales profits and motivate staff to achieve targets
To ensure that stores are efficiently and effectively managed. visiting them regularly and monitoring their compliance with policy, procedure, and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Excel. Word . Outlook and Powerpoint)
Strategic thinker and mathematically skilled

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a similar field preferred.
10+ years of Senior management and leadership experience in a Retail environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows. Excel. Outlook. Word and PowerPoint
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with CRM systems, and project management tools.
Thorough knowledge of integration of Retail POS and back-office systems.
NetSuite and Netscore retail systems.
RFID system trained.
