Job Description
We are looking for skilled and motivated Mine Surveyors to join our project team. The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting accurate surveys, maintaining spatial data and ensuring all mining activities align with engineered designs and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- To collect and interpret survey information and other spatial information required under mining legislation and for service delivery under various activities as coal quality checks.
- Calibration of survey equipment, reconciliation of actual mining against plan, actual blasted reserves to design parameters, production plan updates and volumetric calculations and other works to ensure compliance with applicable legislation(s) and the achievement of company business objectives.
- The Applicant shall be appointed under r15(1) of Mines, Quarries, Works and Machinery Regulations, CAP 44:02 and carry out obligations under the applicable legislations.
Requirements
- Applicant should hold a degree in Mine Surveying/Geomatics or Equivalent qualification and have 5+ years post qualification
- Experience in mining environment (Minerals Resources Management).
