Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) was established to achieve the Government’s economic objectives of ensuring the security of fuel supply, managing government strategic fuel reserves, and facilitating active citizen involvement in the petroleum industry. We are looking for outstanding and driven individuals to take up these exciting and challenging roles:

GENERAL MANAGER – OPERATIONS

The role is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and coordination of tne BOL’s Operations and Engineering functions to deliver on the technical services and strategic projects, as well as the strategic oversight of the Project Management function, in accordance with the corporate strategy, policies, guidelines, goals, and objectives as established from time to time to ensure successful implementation of the BOL mandate.

1. Effective planning and overall efficiency in the operation of BOL storage facilities.
2. Highest safety and operational standards for all BOL storage facilities in accordance with established international standards.
3. Successful delivery of BOL strategic projects.
4. Quality and quantity of process engineering output.
5. Enhanced shareholder value and return on capital employed
6. Improve Company gross margin.
7. Availability and effective execution of the company engineering strategy.
8. Effective project management framework for all strategic projects.
9. Organisational performance and effectiveness.
