Job Summary

The Ministry for State President, Defence and Security invites applications from highly motivated, well experienced and self-driven candidates to fill vacant positions at Directorate of Public Prosecutions, Labour & Immigration & Citizenship Offices tenable in Tsabong village – Tsabong District.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sweeps yard and clears litter in the yard.
  • Maintains trees, lawn and flowers for quality growth by: Regular watering of the garden, Treating cultivated soil with fertilizer, Pruning trees, Mowing grass, Weeding, Treating plants with pesticides and insecticides.
  • Implements sustainable utility measures of the garden to preserve a good state in consultation with the supervisor.
  • Requests and collects for garden supplies.
  • Keeps inventory of garden tools, pesticides and insecticides.
  • Loads and dumps litter and refuse at a point designated by supervisor.
  • Loads refuse and dumps to approved Council spot.
  • Decides when seedlings are big enough to transplant or refers to planting instructions.
  • Prepares seedbeds including tilling soil and erection of sheds, sows flower seeds randomly and waters seedbeds regularly.
  • Demarcates and cultivates plots in preparation for planting trees and flowers through consultation with supervisor.
  • Checks fence and reports defects to the supervisor for maintenance.
  • Undertakes any other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum Primary School Leaving Examination Certificate (PSLE).
  • Direct Entry Experience in gardening will be an added advantage.

Salary

A2 (P36,444 – P42,024 per annum)
