Fairheads (Pty) Ltd is a newly established Retirement Fund Administration Entity in Botswana and seeks to employ individuals passionate about providing exceptional service in the following positions;
FUND ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Requirements:
• ACCA’ClMABICAor related degree.
• At least 7 years Pension Fund Accounting experience of which at least 3 years should have been at management Level.
• A member in good standing with BIC A
• Certificate of Proficiency in Retirement Funds will be an added advantage.
Assigned Responsibilities includes ensuring:
• Recording of monthly contributions, reconciliations and preparation of cashbooks.
• Accurate payment of benefits in accordance with Fund Accounting policies and procedures.
• Processing transactions of vanous pension funds and maintenance of the General Ledger accounts and the Trail Balance.
• Maintenance of the day-to-day. monthly and year-end operations of the Fund’s Books of Accounts.
• Perform general pension fund accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals, etc.
• Preparation of the pension funds’ financial statements and reports in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Cash flow management of various pension funds.
• Management of fund accounting related queries.
• Reporting of financial performance to Boards of Trustees.
