Be Part of a High-Performing Finance Team

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Financial Reporting Officer to support the preparation, review, and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with IFRS, strengthening financial controls, supporting audit processes, and contributing to sustainability (ESG) reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Record Management

  • Assist in preparing:
  • Monthly financial reports
  • Quarterly financial statements
  • Annual financial statements
  • Capture and verify journal entries in compliance with IFRS and internal accounting standards.
  • Support preparation of management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed schedules and reconciliations supporting financial statement balances.

Reconciliations & Transaction Accuracy

  • Prepare reconciliations for:
  • Bank accounts
  • General ledger accounts
  • Control accounts
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve ledger discrepancies.
  • Support monitoring of intercompany transactions and eliminations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions.

Role Requirements

Experience 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial reporting or accounting.
  • Exposure to IFRS-based financial reporting and audit processes.
  • Experience in financial services, fund administration, or banking preferred.
  • Progress toward a professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in ERP and financial reporting tools.
  • Understanding of ESG-related reporting desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA).
