Job Description
Alexander Forbes Solutions Botswana is inviting interested candidates to apply for the position of Financial Planner. The individual will report to the Senior Financial Planner.
The role
To provide financial planning and investment advice to an existing client base by identifying their investment and lifestyle needs and recommending the most suitable investment vehicles. The role also involves identifying potential new business opportunities, including both life assurance and investment products.
Key Performance Areas Client Servicing
- Manage and service existing clients with single and multiple Investments
- Ensure clients are correctly aligned with investment strategies based on house views

Minimum Qualification, Experience, and Knowledge & Skills
Certificate in Sales and marketing or related fields.
COP (Certificate of Proficiency) in long-term insurance.
Minimum of 1-year sales experience.
Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Team player.
Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
A good listener, with the ability to probe effectively to determine customers’ needs.
Compensation
Earnings are strictly commission-based, offering high potential for driven individuals.
