Job Description
Job Purpose
To manage and control all financial transactions of the Nortex Group of Companies, including Nortex chain stores, ensuring effective credit control, debt recovery, and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage company financial transactions and reporting
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and recovery of bad debts
- Create and manage customer and business partner accounts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Job Requirements
- CA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience, including senior managerial experience
- Membership with a recognized accounting professional body in Botswana
Experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the textile industry
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Skills
- Advanced analytical, forecasting, and Excel capabilities
