Job Description
A large diverse Botswana based group having its operations in Francistown, Gaborone and Dipotsana invites applications for the position of FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT based in Francistown.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will form part of the Management Committee responsible for all aspects of the day-to- day functioning of the finance department. Responsibilities include:
Enforcing and improving financial discipline through systems, IT, procedures and regular reporting.
Effectively managing debtors, expenses and budgetary control. Efficient working capital management, taxation and managing the annual audit.
PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
ACCA or CIMA with over 5 years post qualification experience gained in large business environment. Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to manufacturing, mining and transport/plant hire. Must be a member of BICA.
Working knowledge of standard costing and computerised accounting system is desirable. Preference to candidates with experience in working with Syspro. Any additional finance related qualification would be an added advantage.
