Financial Accountant

Main Purpose

To lead, manage and provide strategic direction in the overall management of Emergency Assist 99 Ts finance division, including effective data management.

Key Performance Area

⦁ Ability to analyze and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and projections.
⦁ Develop and monitor the annual company budget.
⦁ Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends (incl. Budgeting)
⦁ Execute Finance Strategic initiatives by ensuring there is adequate oversight over the financial reporting process.
⦁ Responsible for the development and up-to-date maintenance of all finance function policy and procedure manuals, to ensure the achievement of process efficiency and risk management objectives.
⦁ Ensure an effective internal control environment to ensure effective risk management (operational, financial, and reputational)
⦁ Liaising with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out.
⦁ Responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal stakeholders such as senior management, and external stakeholders such as investors, auditors, and regulators.

⦁ Strong computer skills, including but not limited to MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet banking platforms, accounting software packages.
⦁ Business process knowledge.

Requirements, Qualifications,s and Experience

⦁ Professional accounting qualification in AAT/Degree,
⦁ Full qualification (BICA, ACCA, CIMA)
⦁ Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
⦁ Member of a recognized institution such as BICA
