Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Finance
Manager to join our team and lead our financial operations
with excellence. The ideal candidate will bring extensive
expertise in financial management, retail, and distribution,
leveraging over 15 years of proven experience to drive
operational efficiency, optimize supply chains, and enhance
profitability. This role is critical to aligning financial strategies
with business objectives, contributing to the sustained
growth and success of our organization and will be a Senior
leadership role report directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities
As the Finance Manager, you will:
• Financial Leadership:
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting,
ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow,
cost control, and overall financial performance.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports
to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Retail and Distribution Operations:
• Manage inventory systems, optimize stock levels, and
streamline supply chain processes for cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and
oversee logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Drive operational excellence by implementing innovative
solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients,
suppliers, and financial institutions.
• Collaborate across departments to support strategic
decision-making and business growth.
• Leadership and Team Management:
• Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering
a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive employee engagement and professional development
initiatives to achieve team and organizational goals.

Qualifications and Experience
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Global Management
Accountant (CGMA) certification.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial management,
with significant exposure to retail and distribution sectors.
• Expertise in managing large-scale operations, including
multi-location inventory and supply chain systems.
• Demonstrated success in cost optimization, achieving
operational savings of 10% or more annually.
• Strong background in compliance, financial reporting, and
strategic planning.

Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Pastel Accounting,
and VIP Payroll.
• Strong command of MS Excel and database management
for financial analysis and reporting.
Core Competencies
• Retail and Distribution Expertise: In-depth knowledge
of high-volume retail and distribution operations.
• Operational Efficiency: Proven ability to streamline
processes and enhance inventory turnover.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Skilled in building lasting
relationships with suppliers, regulators, and partners.
• Leadership: Experienced in leading cross-functional
teams, fostering high-performance cultures, and mentoring
future leaders.
• Compliance: Strong track record of adherence to financial
and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Experience
• Experience in international trade, including import/export
operations and inventory management.
• Previous success in aligning financial practices with global
corporate standards.
