Finance Manager
Job Summary
The Finance Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of the organization’s
financial health. This position directs the planning, implementation, and control of comprehensive financial management and accounting systems
to ensure the integrity of all fiscal transactions.
The successful candidate will also lead the preparation of timely financial statements and statutory accounts, providing the executive team
with accurate data to facilitate informed decision-making and safeguard the Fund’s assets. Beyond core finance, this role oversees procurement
excellence and administrative strategies, ensuring that back-office operations are cost-effective and fully aligned with the Fund’s broader mandate.
Experience
- A minimum of eight (8) years post-qualification experience in financial management.
- At least three (3) years at middle management level.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of accounting software applications.
- Previous audit experience will be an added advantage.
Education
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification.
- An internationally recognised professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
- Membership of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) or a recognised international accounting body/professional organization.
