JB is a premium lifestyle brand offering men’s and women’s fashion, sportswear, and accessories. We currently looking for a FASHION RETAIL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST tenable at Gaborone, Botswana.
SUMMARY OF THE JOB
As the Fashion Retail Business Development Specialist for the company as a whole, you will be responsible for providing Fashion Retail Business Development systems support, maintenance and improvement of current fashion retail systems, and lead the planning of major systems in line with your duties as well as the implementation of projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Develop and implement strategic fashion retail business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
Lead the planning, development and execution of strategic fashion retail business development plans.
Identify new fashion retail market opportunities and develop strategies to enter and succeed in these markets.
Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders with keen interest in fashion retail merchandise among others.
Conduct market analysis and competitor research to stay ahead of industry trends.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop product offerings and marketing strategies that meet market needs.
Overseethe merchandise and planning processes from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. Prepare and present reports to senior management.
Monitor and analyse business performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Master of Business Administration or equivalent is required.
A Minimum of proven 10 years’ experience in Fashion Retail with particular experience in planning and merchandising.
Should have knowledge of Netscore and Netsuit system.
Computer literacy is required.
Demonstrable insight into fundamentals of fashion retail planning and merchandising principles and procedures
