VACANCY: FACILITIES MANAGER

Job Summary:

Plans, manages, maintains, and coordinates the entire ODC facilities which includes office building(s) and grounds. The position oversees the upkeep of equipment, vehicles, supplies and manages repairs and/or renovations. Develops and inplements ODC’s health and safety (SHE) protocals, procedures and standards. Ensures optimal use of the physical infrastructure for effective service delivery.

Job Requirements:

A degree in Property Management, Estate Management, Electrical/Mechanical/Construction, or related fields. A minimum of 7 years’ experience of managing facilities/property, 3 of which should have been at management level.

Responsibilities:

Identify organisational property reqyuirements and facilitate cost-effective management of all the facilities. Contributes to the ODC corporate strategy and business plans.

Ensures that ODC facilities are fully operational, fit for purpose, appropriately maintained, and cleaned. Develops and implements life cycle asset management strategies.

Ensures compliance of building standards to statutory and regulatory requirements.

Develops and implements SHE policies Manages outsourced contractors Negotiates contracts and SLA with third parties.
