Marung Development Services (PTY) Ltd is a Botswana Registered Company that is 100% citizen owned and offers a wide range of products and services of the highest quality including drilling and blasting, from equipment selection to drill and blast pattern design and execution. MDS also offers consultancy services on a wide range of mining operational and technical issues e.g. drill and blast audits, drilling efficiency improvements, optimization of penetration rate in different formations through drill consumables review and equipment performance setting; and magazine management.
The Company is looking to invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the below positions, tenable at Karowe Diamond Mine, Letlhakane:
Engineering Technician
Incumbents will perform diagnostic tests on machinery to find faults, analyze diagnostic test results, repairing or replace engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components of the Heavy Plant Mining machinery/equipment.
Requirements:
⦁ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical /Automotive Engineering
⦁ Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components plus a valid driver’s license.
⦁ ASE Diesel Certification is advantageous, and a good IT, diagnostic skills and communications skills.
