Job Description

Enforcement Officer (x1)

Job Purpose

To support the day-to-day implementation of the Authority’s enforcement strategy through investigations,
intelligence gathering and monitoring activities aimed at addressing illegal gambling, anti-money laundering
activities, and regulatory non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute towards the implementation of the Authority’s corporate and enforcement strategy.
  • Implement the Authority’s regulatory compliance policies, processes and procedures.
  • Assist with investigations relating to illegal gambling activities and regulatory breaches.
  • Assist with monitoring activities aimed at identifying suspicious gambling-related activities, including anti-money laundering matters.
  • Conduct investigations triggered by suspicious behaviour, tip-offs or indications of non-compliance.
  • Analyse and compile evidence to support enforcement and investigation activities.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies on identified compliance breaches and illegal gambling activities.
  • Compile periodic reports arising from monitoring and investigative activities.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to promote awareness of the Authority’s mandate.
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Law, Criminology or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of investigations, compliance monitoring or regulatory environments.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
