Enforcement Officer (x1)
Job Purpose
To support the day-to-day implementation of the Authority’s enforcement strategy through investigations,
intelligence gathering and monitoring activities aimed at addressing illegal gambling, anti-money laundering
activities, and regulatory non-compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute towards the implementation of the Authority’s corporate and enforcement strategy.
- Implement the Authority’s regulatory compliance policies, processes and procedures.
- Assist with investigations relating to illegal gambling activities and regulatory breaches.
- Assist with monitoring activities aimed at identifying suspicious gambling-related activities, including anti-money laundering matters.
- Conduct investigations triggered by suspicious behaviour, tip-offs or indications of non-compliance.
- Analyse and compile evidence to support enforcement and investigation activities.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies on identified compliance breaches and illegal gambling activities.
- Compile periodic reports arising from monitoring and investigative activities.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to promote awareness of the Authority’s mandate.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Law, Criminology or a related field.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of investigations, compliance monitoring or regulatory environments.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
