VACANCIES EXIST AT GABORONE ELECTRONICS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

2X Technician (Electrical)
Job Summary:

Electrical technicians are responsible for the installation, service, repair and maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment and other electrical systems and appliances.

Responsibilities:

⦁ Carry out a risk assessment before doing any repair or installation work.
⦁ Ensure and adhere to safe working habits and conditions at all times.
⦁ Carry out repair work on electrical and LPG equipment through fault-finding skills.
⦁ Carry out remedial measures based on above findings.
⦁ Install new kitchen and laundry equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ and recommended standards.
⦁ Carry out maintenance service on all kitchen and laundry equipment.
⦁ Carry out pre-commissioning checks and tests
⦁ Do final commissioning and produce commissioning report.

Requirements:

⦁ Diploma or equivalent in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or higher.
⦁ At least 12 years of experience working in a related electrical maintenance field.
⦁ Working knowledge in mechanical engineering systems.
⦁ Working knowledge on LPG equipment.
⦁ Proficiency in troubleshooting skills.
⦁ Ability to write clear technical reports on the diagnosis.
⦁ Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical instructions
⦁ Ability to use various electrical and troubleshooting tools.
⦁ Excellent customer service skills
