Job Description
The Bank requires the services of knowledgeable, highly skilled and self-driven individuals for the following position:
Driver (Ref: BSB-010)
Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for operating the organisation’s vehicles and safely transporting cash and valuables between branches and cash centres. The Driver is also responsible for transporting staff and goods to various locations in accordance with organisational guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- JCE or related area.
- BGCSE or related will be an added advantage.
- Must have a clean, unendorsed. Class B driver’s license.
- Five (5) years proven driving experience of a light duty vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an updated logbook indicating departure and arrival times, oil and fuel consumption, mileage etc.
- Check oil and water in the engine compartment.
- Clean organisational vehicles, including executive cars, and ensure that they are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Report accidents and damage to vehicles in accordance with laid down procedures.
- Assist registry work (within the transport section) such as the processing of mail and the operation of office machinery, as required.
