The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of drill rigs, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and supporting the drill rig operator in daily tasks. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work in challenging environments. The Drill Rig Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, preparing drilling sites, and assisting with the transportation of drilling materials. Responsibilities

• Assisting the drill rig operator in daily tasks.
• Maintaining and repairing drilling equipment.
• Preparing drilling sites for operation.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Assisting with the transportation of drilling materials.
• Monitoring drilling operations for any issues or malfunctions.
• Cleaning and storing drilling tools and equipment.
• Recording and reporting drilling operation data.
• Assisting with the installation of drilling pipes.
• Supporting the team in emergency situations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• Ability to work in challenging environments.
• Knowledge of drilling operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate and maintain drilling equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work long hours and in adverse weather conditions.
