Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the development of the organization’s long-term strategic plan, including the identification of key priorities, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment between the strategic plan and the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring they are executed effectively and on schedule.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of strategic initiatives and adjust plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

2. Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive performance management framework that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and operational performance.
  • Analyze performance data and provide insights to senior management on areas of improvement and success.
  • Lead performance reviews and drive continuous improvement efforts across the organization.

3. Transformation Initiatives:

  • Identify and lead transformational projects aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and management of transformation initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Engage with stakeholders to secure buy-in for transformation efforts and manage change across the organization.
  • Ensure that transformation initiatives are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and that they deliver measurable business value.

4. Change Management:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support the successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes.
  • Lead efforts to build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders and employees during times of change, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing resistance.

5. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the strategy, performance, and transformation teams, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet departmental and organizational goals.
  • Ensure ongoing professional development and training for team members.

6. Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the budget for strategy, performance, and transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and adjust as necessary to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through strategic and transformation initiatives.

7. Reporting and Communication:

  • Communicate key insights, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all strategic and transformation activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on the progress of strategic, performance, and transformation initiatives to the executive team and Board of Directors.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Education:
    • MBA or Master’s in Strategic Management
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, performance management, or transformation leadership
    • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic initiatives and managing transformational projects.
    • Experience in change management and driving organizational change.
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex strategies to diverse audiences.
