VACANCY: DIRECTOR (PROCUREMENT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT)

Applications are invited from highly motivated and well experienced self-driven citizens of Botswana for the position of Director – Procurement and Project Management tenable in the Ministry of Minerals and Energy.
Salary: Leave: Benefits: E1 (P512 148 – P532 860per annum) 30 working days per annum.
Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government Contributes 50% and employee 50%)
Duration
Qualifications: 2-3 years contract
Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Purchasing & Materials Management/CIPS Level 6 or any other relevant field.

Experience: A minimum of 12 years work experience in the relevant area, two (2) years of which should have been served at E2 salary scale or equivalent.
Main Purpose of the Job:
To provide strategic leadership and guidance on procurement services, facilities management and contract management, as well as asset disposal at Ministry and Independent Department level, in a timely and cost effective manner.

Ministry of Finance and other relevant procurement structures, other ministries/departments and oversight bodies as may be necessary for successful delivery of procurement.
contractors to facilitate effective delivery of procurement services.
