DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION
Summary:
The Director, Human Resources and Administration is responsible for leading and overseeing all human resources and administrative functions within the organization. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, managing the employee lifecycle, and ensuring efficient and effective administrative operations. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director plays a key role in supporting the organization’s strategic objectives through the alignment of human capital and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
– Develop and execute the organization’s human resources strategy, policies, and programs
– Oversee the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding of employees
– Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
– Administer the organization’s compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance
– Design and implement learning and development initiatives to support employee growth and retention
– Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging organizational culture
– Ensure the organization’s compliance with all relevant labor laws and employment regulations
– Serve as a strategic partner to executives and department heads, providing HR-related insights and recommendations
Administration:
– Oversee the organization’s administrative operations, including facilities management, procurement, and vendor relationships
– Implement and maintain efficient systems, processes, and workflows to support the organization’s day-to-day activities
– Manage the organization’s information technology infrastructure, in collaboration with the IT team
– Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of administrative functions
– Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and enhanced productivity
– Ensure the organization’s compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
– Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HR and administration, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
– Proven track record of designing and implementing successful HR strategies and programs
– Strong understanding of employment laws, labor regulations, and best practices in human resources
– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
– Proficient in the use of HR information systems and data analysis tools
– Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
– Keen business acumen, with the ability to align HR and administrative initiatives with the organization’s strategic goals
