Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Coordinator -Digital Transformation-F2 salary scale tenable at Ministry of Communications and Innovation-Digital Transformation Coordination Office.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To provide strategic leadership in the management and coordination of digital transformation of Botswana
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
•Develops frameworks for development of Digitalisation standards and strategies
•Coordinates the development of Digitalization operational policies, standards and strategies
•Establishes and maintains partnerships and also collaborates with stakeholders both national and international to facilitate Digitalisation
•Leads the design and development of National Enterprise Architecture to guide business digitalization across the economy.
•Coordinates development and implementation of e-services in the country.
•Oversees the negotiations of contracts and licences relating to Digital Transformation to maximise operational and financial performance
•Develops strategies and systems that facilitate citizen information security
•Prepares, manages and monitors recurrent budgetsand estimates and development budget for the function.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor degree in Information Communication Technology, Computer Engineering or System Design or a related field.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of eighteen (18) years experience in ICT or a related field of. which two (2) should have been a Deputy Coordinator or equivalent SALARY SCALE: F2 (P578 508 – P607 440 per annum LEAVE: 30 Working days per annum
