Job Description
Main/principal activities:
- Technical analysis and implementation of new Orange Money service as required by the Orange Money products team.
- Implement and improve monitoring for VAS services.
- Responsible for the integration of services like Billing, Orange Money and e-Recharge with different 3rd parties e.g. Banks.
- Automate and improve development and release processes.
- Adopt best practices that improve VAS services availability.
- Illustrates and promote Agile values and principles.
- To work with SMC and TMC during troubleshooting of incidents.
- Manage issues relating to capacity and QoS of the Orange Money platform.
- To perform any other duties as requested by the lead and the manager.
- Provide to the company tools to improve profitability.
- Implement priority models at corporate level D3 (DATA & IA).
- Monitor the operation and implementation of mediation applications.
- Ensure quality, availability and continuity of service.
Required Skills:
- Experience in working with an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Planning and solution analysis with product teams and other relevant stakeholders.
- Experience in working with APIs.
- Knowledge of Source control tools (GitLab, GitHub) and branching strategies.
- Experience in containerization and container orchestration tools (Docker,Kubernetes).
- Good in at least one of the following technologies: Java, Python, SpringBoot,Angular, Flutter, Maven/Gradle, NoSQL.
- Solid knowledge of SQL.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in mobile fintech solutions is a plus.
- Self-motivated, passionate, responsible, and a good team player.
Academic Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Telecommunication/IT or related fields.
- 2 years’ experience in a Telecommunication environment or related field with emphasis on software development.
- Professional training in DevOps tools will be an added advantage.
