Cytotechnologist – Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital

Main Purpose:

• Analyzes fluid and tissue specimens for microscopic cellular abnormalities

• Evaluates pap smears and other non-gynecological specimen

• Collects, prepares and interprets specimens for other types of fluid and tissue testing

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Cytotechnology or a combination of Histology and Cytology degree) Technology/Sciences.

• Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.

• Registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in Laboratory
