Cleaner (x2 Positions) – Australian Laboratory Services Botswana
Job Description
Scope of Work:
- Cleaning of the laboratory
- Sorting samples and weighing samples
- Loading samples in the oven
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them
- Collect and empty garbage
- Clean toilets and kitchen/canteen three times a day
- To use hazardous chemicals in a safe and controlled manner
- Clean the laboratory yard and garden
- Wash windows and wipe doors and door handles regularly
- Ensure ALS Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all timesAbout you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Primary school Certificate
- 3-5 years Laboratory cleaning experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a mandatory requirement.
- Good interpersonal skills and effective in working in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Able to prioritize and give accurate feedback on time
- High standards of work ethic and attention to detail
