Job Description
Auto Sueco Botswana (ASB) is part of NORS group providing Sales, Parts & Service for Volvo trucks in Botswana as well as for other Volvo brands such as Volvo buses and Volvo Penta.
Our company is looking for experienced and talented candidate for the following position.
COO (Chief Operational Officer)
The Chief Operating Officer role is a key executive management position reporting to the Regional Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates the implementation of the business activity plan, managing and controlling the company’s financial activities
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures.
- Oversee daily operations of the company and that of the work executives – Human Resources, Finance, After Sales and Marketing
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance.
- Ensures the continuity of operations and maximizes the business profitability.
- Regularly assesses the operations under its responsibility, and suggests corrective actions, as well as defining areas for cost optimization and improvements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Sales and Marketing
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Sales, preferably having experience as Dealer Principal
- Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer will be an added advantage.
- Experience in the financial area, numerical analysis for decision making
- Knowledge of truck industry, preferably in product VOLVO
- Commercially and business focused, target-driven with “self-going” initiator skills;
- Strong selling skills, a positive attitude and great personal drive;
