DESCRIPTION
The Botswana Defence Force is looking forward to employing suitably qualified Non-Uniformed Personnel for the following positions:
CHIEF ADMINISTRATION OFFICER D4 X1 – TENABLE AT EASTERN MILITARY GARRISON Qualifications: Experience: Salary scale: Leave: Benefits:
Diploma/Degree Public Administration, Human Resource Management or related field
At least six (6) years relevant work experience, two (2) of which should have been served as Principal Administration Officer at C1 salary scale D4 (P232,140– P255,876)
30 working days per annum

Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% while Employee pays 50%)
Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% while Employee pays 5%) c. Housing and Upkeep Allowance of P309.00 per month
Job purpose: Coordinate all Human Resource functions, policies, and procedures of the non-uniformed workforce at the Command level to ensure effective delivery of service. Job Duties and Responsibilities
a. Interpret and advise on the implementation of Human Resource policies, regulations, and directives in order to ensure adherence to governing instruments.
b. Create and maintain employee records to ensure compliance to set standards.
c. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Performance Management System to ensure achievement of objectives. d. Facilitate the recruitment and selection process to ensure effective and efficient filling of vacancies.
e. Investigate grievances/complaints and recommend appropriate action to ensure all employee matters are resolved. f. Prepare Manpower budget in order to inform management on future manpower needs of the organization.
g. Contributes to the development of the training plan to ensure the improvement of skills and competences
h. Process employee benefits to ensure payment within the stipulated time frame
