Introduction
The incumbent shall primarily be responsible for Business Processes Analysis which entails: being the custodian of all organizational processes and procedures, the analysis and optimization of these procedures and processes ensuring that existing and new processes are appropriately documented and available to the business.
Job description
  • Collects, analyzes and interprets business processes to identify scope and impact of business problems
  • Attend project related meetings: Project Committees, Steering Committees, BCF etc
  • Works with the Group BPM function to ensure that the bank derives value from the Group Centre of Excellence
  • Supports the change management function by facilitating the implementation documented processes in the business units impacted by projects
  • Facilitates team meetings to document process workflow, for process improvement;
  • Establish cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties
  • Identifies process risks and recommends changes or controls to eliminate or mitigate risks.
  • Follow up with relevant departments to ensure compliance with the new processes.
  • Develop informational literature and user manuals for business process / policies;
  • Keep Originals of approved and signed processes / policies on file;
  • Period review of processes / policies to ensure relevance and adherence by departments
  • Prepares technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.
  • Co-ordinates the publication of updated policies / processes and procedures on Lenga
  • Custodian and coordinator of the Bank’s centralized document imaging / archiving system
  • Implement and maintain an effective filing system for the PMO
  • Assist in the administration of contract documents and ensure proper securing of files.
  •  Assist in the development of project management plans
  • Project financials – obtains quotes from vendors, generates procurements, ensures that purchase orders are issued, receives invoices from vendors, ensure that vendors are paid and reconciles payments against the original approved project procurements.
Minimum requirements
  • Degree in Business Management/ Project Management/Information Technology
  • Certification in Project Management will be an added advantage
  • Six Sigma Qualification will be an added advantage
  • 3 to 5 years of Experience.
