Business Development Administrator – Botswana Fibre Networks

Job Description

Bofinet is seeking the services of a Business Development Administrator to join our team. The position reports to the Business Analyst. The incumbent will be part of the Business Development team responsible for overseeing market research, identifying trends and analyzing data to help develop recommendations for business strategies. You will provide essential administrative support to the department to ensure efficient delivery of data and information to help in decision making.

Key performance areas

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research by collecting and analysing data to make recommendations for effective decision making.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to get feedback on products and services.
  • Analysis and monitoring of customer accounts to recommend upgrades and contract renewals.
  • Assisting in monitoring and tracking of business cases.
  • Ensure filing of pricing with regulator for approvals.
  • Ensuring that product pricing is regularly updated on the billing system.
  • Coordinating and managing business development activities to ensure alignment with internal processes and the overall corporate strategy.

Academic qualifications

The candidates should have attained the following:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, applied mathematics or related quantitative field.
  • 0 – 2 years working experience. Experience in a commercial environment will be an added advantage.
