Brachytherapy Nurse – Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital

Main Purpose:

• Manages preparation for brachytherapy procedures

• Manages patients’ related needs after their brachytherapy procedure

• Is responsible for reviewing the schedule ahead of time to prepare the clinic for upcoming brachytherapy appointments

• Provides support in the Radiation Oncology clinics as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing

• Post Graduate Qualification in Radiation Oncology- Brachytherapy Requirements

• At least 3 years continuous clinical experience in brachytherapy unit

• Registered with the Botswana Nursing Council
