About the job Baker
Our client in the catering industry is looking for an experienced Baker to join their team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support experienced chef in preparing and baking various items, including bread, pastries, and desserts.
- Help measure and mix ingredients, following established recipes and guidelines.
- Responsible for operating baking equipment like ovens, mixers, and proofing machines under supervision.
- Keeping the work area clean and organized is crucial for a baker to ensure food safety and efficiency.
- Help with inventory management, including monitoring ingredient supplies and informing senior staff when restocking is needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as baker, or relevant role.
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Organizing and leadership skills
- Willingness to replenish professional knowledge.
- knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques.
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field
General Conditions:
- Shift Rotation
- 4 day Off rotations
- Remote Location
- Salary P5500 per month
- Onsite accommodation and meals whilst on shift.
