AREA SALES MANAGER
The above-mentioned vacancy exists at Clover Botswana – Gaborone. Clover Botswana is a branded dairy foods and beverage company. It believes in superior procurement, production, marketing, sales, and distribution of its products to consumers.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent is required to support the application
• 5 years’ experience in FMCG market
• 2-5 years working with senior management
• Good negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
• High energy levels and business acumen
• Must be able to take decisions independently
• Computer literate with good PC and Powerplay skills
• MS Excel (Advanced)
• Code 8/10 driver’s license
• Strong administrative skills
• Fluent business English
• Travel off-site / overnight stay

Responsibilities:
Implement and manage the Sales process
• Implement and control shelf management initiatives
• Enhance Team performance and development
• Performing the Key Account function for selected Customer groups
• Build and maintain sound customer relationships with all allocated customers
• Manage the sales/cost process in a geographical area
• Ensure customer marketing and promotional plan is executed in line with the company strategy
• Increase numeric distribution and sales volumes within the area and channels
• Develop and maintain sound relationships with customers in all channels, both within and externally across all business units
• Develop sales and business skills of the Sales Team
• Manage the Sales Team which consists of Account Managers, Sales Representatives, CSC, Sales and Marketing Coordinator and Merchandiser’s work performance
• Implement sales programs and initiatives in line with the company strategy
• Execution of Marketing activities and point of sale
• Responsible for Principal Business Execution
